Be hosted through 4 of the best breweries in the Brisbane City area to taste locally produced beers! Get to see behind the scenes, taste some great beers, meet the brewers, and see how the beer is made. All organised for you! Beer, transport, food and a professional host included. We will pick you up wherever you want (10km radius of Brisbane CBD). Gold Coast departures can be organised – just ring us (488 332 257).
Our first stop will be the NEWSTEAD BREWING CO . Described by some as being like sitting at the Cattleman’s Bar at the Ekka, Newstead Brewing has that unique Queensland pub atmosphere. Once a warehouse/factory, it has been hollowed out and stripped back to its industrial shell. The result is giant high-ceilinged space within which to grab a stool and get stuck into a tasting paddle chosen from the best list of beers to be found anywhere in Brisbane. You will see the giant brewing vats and equipment, the source of the in-house beers. Click on the link provided to check out their range of beers. (* the Newstead tasting paddle of 4 x 150ml tasting glasses included).
A short drive will bring us to the Green Beacon Brewing Co. The atmosphere is a mixture of funk and industrial style. Green Beacon has a great selection of permanent beers such as the Penny Porter (5%) plus you have the special releases board with such gems as The Digger (7%) with sweet tones and an oaty after taste. There is a local Queensland red, white and sparkling wine list for the non-beer drinkers .A light lunch (shared) will be provided at this stop. (* light lunch and a tasting paddle included).
Not too far up the road we find ourselves at Range Brewing who are a small batch brewery passionate about quality, innovation and design. Range Brewing specialize in brewing a rotating line-up of hoppy, dark, and sour beers. A big promise of Range Brewing is that they will remain aware of the resource-intensive process of beer brewing and will make and supply the highest quality product with the environment in mind. (+ tasting paddle included).
Our final stop takes us to Black Hops Brewing. Black Hops started as a simple idea over a beer with 3 good mates Dan, Eddie and Govs. That lead to the first Black Hops beer, the Eggnog Stout. From that humble beginnings they now produce an awesome range of beers sold through 3 taprooms in Brisbane, Burleigh Heads, and Biggera Waters plus over a thousand venues across Australia. (*tasting paddle included).
Then it’s time to drop you back into the City so you can carry on with your beer journey should you wish!
For various reasons breweries may not be able to take us on the day and we reserve the right to be flexible with your itinerary and change venues without notice. Look things happen! But don’t worry there will still be plenty of beer and good times
